The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for the entire Bay Area beginning July 2nd, 2024, at 11:36 a.m. through July 9th, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. The Santa Clara County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is urging members of the community to take necessary precautions. Cooling Centers are now open throughout Santa Clara County to protect the public as the region enters a heat wave.
